Evaluating and Ranking of Software Companies in Adapting to IT Outsourcing Risks

Abstract In recent decades, the effective use of information technology (IT) systems has become an integral part of industries. On the other hand, due to the benefits of these systems (cost reduction, access to the latest technology versions, monitoring and control, risk reduction, improvement of plans for future progress, and ultimately improvement of productivity), the use of IT outsourcing systems has been a special focus of these industries. However, the use of this system has always faced risks and challenges. This research aims to evaluate the key risks effective in IT outsourcing and to rank selected software companies in successful adaptation to IT outsourcing. For this purpose, the opinions of 75 experts were used to evaluate the risks and rank the companies. A binomial test (BT) approach was used to identify the final risks. The result showed that 6 risks are effective in IT outsourcing. Also, the risk assessment with a weighted average (WA) showed that technical risks are in the first importance and communicational risks are in the last importance. Ranking of companies based on the weight of risks with the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) technique showed that the first software company was ranked first and the third company was ranked seventh. Based on the evaluations, practical suggestions were provided to companies. The proposed model of this research provides a suitable perspective for company managers in facing the risks of IT outsourcing.
Evaluation of key cement production industries based on sustainable development factors with a combined approach of Fuzzy (AHP-VIKOR)

Abstract In recent decades, the world has focused on a new concept that emphasizes the effective protection of the environment and careful use of natural resources; these emphases bring the goals of sustainable economic, environmental and social growth. Sustainable development (SD) means the development and progress of the current generation while preserving resources for the development of the future generation. The main purpose of this research is evaluation of key cement production industries based on SD factors with a combined approach of FAHP-FVIKOR. The statistical population includes 55 experts and specialists familiar with the concept of SD in 5 key industries of Iran's cement industry. Due to the limited community and lack of access to them, the opinions of 33people were finally used. The research method was practical in terms of its purpose, and it was a descriptive survey type using two questionnaires in terms of the data collection method. For this purpose, to evaluate the importance of three key factors in SD, FAHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) approach was used and the weight of the factors was calculated. The results showed that the economic sustainability factor is more important than the environmental and social sustainability factors. Next, in order to evaluate the mentioned 5 industries based on SD factors, the fuzzy VIKOR (VlseKriter ijumskaOptimizacija I KompromisnoResenje) technique was used and the final ranking of the industries was extracted. The present research is the first applied research in the field of evaluating the SD factors of the country's cement industry and ranking the key cement industries with multi-criteria decision-making techniques; So that its results can be used in the evaluation of other cement production industries and related industries of the country.
A Fuzzy Delphi-BWM-TOPSIS Hybrid Approach to Assessment Suppliers Resilience

Abstract Identifying and evaluating the key parameters of resilience on the evaluating of suppliers in order to select the best resource supplier in the industry is very important. For this purpose, in this study, after a comprehensive review of the literature and the application of fuzzy Delphi technique and using the opinions of petrochemical upstream industry experts, six key and general parameters of supplier resilience (including key performance factors, supplier responsiveness, supplier risk reduction, supplier technical support, supplier stability, information technology management) were identified in eighteen factors. Then the weight of the parameters was determined using the best-worst method (BWM). The output of this method indicates the extraction of "supplier risk mitigation systems" and "key performance factors" as the most important parameters, respectively. Then, the five suppliers of the mentioned industry were evaluated and ranked using TOPSIS (technique for order performance by similarity to ideal solution) technique and based on the extracted weight of the parameters. The output showed that the fourth supplier was in the first place and the second supplier was in the last place. Thus, the proposed model of this research can be a good guide for upstream petrochemical industries in the successful and future evaluation of potential suppliers in order to improve supply and achieve competitive advantage and further satisfy customer needs.
